A student at Rice University around the time of Halloween ended up in the hospital for breaking a window with nothing but his ass. Eddy was participating in the school tradition of running around with nothing on but shaving cream on their privates, leaving butt and boob prints around the campus windows. Eddy wanted to get his ass print on a window that was elevated off the ground at the Fondren Library but instead of leaving a print, he broke the window. This isn’t the first time this occurred. Eddy is now faced with a $15,000 fine for his bared ass recklessness. Eddy is now trying to raise money to pay for it. That has got to be a pain in the ass.
-RJSoccer balls and tennis balls are apparently more dangerous than sharp metal darts, who knew?!?
After an incident where a parent was hit by a soccer ball and suffered a concussion, the principal at Earl Beatty Public School in Toronto has temporarily banned all “hard” balls from the school playground. Lawn darts and other sporting activities including the javelin throw were not outlawed. Yeah it is so better for kids to be throwing sharp metal darts around but it is completely unsafe to have a soccer ball be kicked around, what the heck are these people on! The principle explained that the play area is just to small for those type of activites, thus playing with "hard" balls is outlawed for that school.

Penn State Football Coach Sex Scandal goes into overtime
With the sex scandal involving ex-football coach Jerry Sandusky entering it's 4th week, the coach is now taking his own measures to prove his innocence. This proves how much he honestly, or at least wants the public to believe, his innocence. But last week during an interview with Fox News, Sandusky hesitated before stating that he wasn't guilty, a move which sure didn't help his case. So who does this whole scandal reflect badly upon: Sandusky or Penn State? Seeing as the allegations are a few years old, it looks worse for the police and the witnesses, rather than Sandusky. But who knows what could happen next?Overall, just a huge school fail
Nearly half of America's public schools didn't meet federal achievement standards in the year 2011, marking the largest failure rate since the criticized "No Child Left Behind Law" took effect a decade ago. The Center on Education Policy report shows more than 43,000 schools(48%)did not make enough yearly progress this year. The failure rates range from a low of 11% in Wisconsin to a high of 89% in Florida. The law requires states to have every student performing at grade level in math and reading by 2014, which most educators agree is an impossible goal. State's scores varied wildly. For example, in Georgia, 27% of schools did not meet targets, compared to 81% in Massachusetts and 16% in Kansas. That's because some states have harder tests or have higher numbers of immigrants and more low-income children, also because the law requires states to raise the bar each year for how many children must pass the test. http://www.usatoday.com/news/education/story/2011-12-15/schools-federal-standards/51949126/1
